Meet Dr. Matthew Hagan
Matthew Hagan MD, FACS is a double board-certified plastic surgeon. At Berks Plastic Surgery, Dr. Hagan combines surgical expertise with artistry to fulfill patients’ goals with natural results with an uncompromising focus on safety.
Education
Dr. Hagan graduated with high honors in Athletic Training from the University of Florida and earned his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. After completing a General Surgery residency at Temple University Hospital, he obtained Board Certification in General Surgery.
Dr. Hagan then specialized in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Chicago, training at the University of Illinois Chicago with experts in craniofacial, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery. He went on to complete his second board certification in Plastic Surgery, and is a member of the prestigious national plastic surgery organizations the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Aesthetic Society, and the American College of Surgeons.

Family
Originally from Tampa, Florida, Dr. Hagan previously practiced in Idaho Falls, ID before relocating to Wyomissing and joining Berks Plastic Surgery. He is happily married to Erica with three daughters: Frances, Vivian, and Mary. Alongside their English bulldog, Ormie, they cherish family time. Dr. Hagan’s interests include travel, snowboarding, and passionately cheering for his favorite sports teams.
